Athena is very proud of our beautiful parks. The large Athena City park is open from dusk to dawn year round, with swimming pool access during the summer months. Click Here to find out more about the swimming pool. The park does have an under cover event center that is open to the public, but must be reserved through City Hall. Please also enjoy our Skate Park and the Athena Memorial Ballpark.

Once you have gotten relaxed with our small town charm, you may want to start exploring some of our many area attractions less than 30 miles from Athena. From the Pendleton Round-Up in September, to the historic Pendleton Woolen Mills open year round, to the beautiful Blue Mountains with lakes, camping, and hiking, and of course to our North the enticing Walla Walla wine country. So much to enjoy – you will want to return often!
